California is becoming more and more authoritarian
- All four smaller opposition parties have effectively been BANNED from all general election ballots.
- People's ballot choices have been reduced.
- Now even your write-in vote has been made illegal.
Comrade Governor Jerry Brown of the People's Republic of California has signed AB 1413, which removes the write-in space from general election ballots for Congress and state partisan office. California is the only state that has ever had write-ins, but which doesn’t have them any longer, except for Louisiana.
States that formerly did not have write-in space on general election ballots, but added such space during the last 45 years, are Florida, Indiana, Delaware, and Ohio reports Ballot Access News.
California is now one of only six states that have no write-in space on the November ballot for Congress.
Political Parties Banned - In 2010 the Democrats and Republicans worked together to ban all opposition parties from all future general election ballots. In other nations this would be called a dictatorship, but in California the fucking bastards called it "reform".
In a back room deal, and without any public hearings, the legislature put Proposition 14 on the ballot that effectively removed all four smaller opposition parties from the general election ballot. Only the top two parties in the primary would advance to a general election. In addition Prop 14 made write-in votes illegal.
The legislature even hand picked who was allowed to write the ballot booklet argument against Prop 14, and none of the parties being banned was allowed to write that statement which went to every voter.
So much for freedom.
Now Comrade Brown has signed a bill removing that pesky open space on the ballot where you could put that write-in candidate.
Well, fuck Brown, fuck the Democrats and fuck the Republicans that created this shit.
Remember, only vote for candidate approved by the monied Elites.
