THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA - This site is dedicated to exposing the continuing Marxist Revolution in California and the all around massive stupidity of Socialists, Luddites, Communists, Fellow Travelers and of Liberalism in all of its ugly forms.

"It was a splendid population - for all the slow, sleepy, sluggish-brained sloths stayed at home - you never find that sort of people among pioneers - you cannot build pioneers out of that sort of material. It was that population that gave to California a name for getting up astounding enterprises and rushing them through with a magnificent dash and daring and a recklessness of cost or consequences, which she bears unto this day - and when she projects a new surprise the grave world smiles as usual and says, "Well, that is California all over."

10.8 million Calif. ballots are “unaccounted for”

Corruption
Nobody knows - Nobody Cares

More than 10.8 million mail-in ballots went “unaccounted for” in California’s midterm elections last year, data published by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) reveals.

In 2022, California election officials mailed out more than 22.1 million ballots to registered voters, the data published by PILF shows. Of those, more than 10.8 million went “unaccounted for” as researchers said election officials can only make assumptions as to what happened with the ballots.

“Typically, when a polling place opens and closes, there is an accounting of all election materials. Significant issues arise when incidents occur such as ballots disappearing at poll closing time. With mass mail elections, problems accumulate,” PILF researchers state:

After accounting for polling place votes and rejected ballots in November 2022, there were more than 10 million ballots left outstanding, meaning election officials do not know what happened to them. It is fair to assume that the bulk of these were ignored or ultimately thrown out by the intended recipients. But, under mass mail elections, we can only assume what happened. Mail voting practices have an insurmountable information gap. The public cannot know how many ballots were disregarded, delivered to wrong mailboxes, or even withheld from the proper recipient by someone at the same address. [Emphasis added]

We the Sheeple support Marxism

"So this is how democracy dies,
with thunderous applause.”

Marxist Democrats (with the help of many spineless Republicans) created a Golden Police State here in Commiefornia.

Unconstitutional Lockdowns of businesses and churches

Forced Masking

Closing of schools

Virtual House Arrest of the entire state

Forced Killshots of the Sheeple

And the Sheeple reward their Marxist Dear Leader with another term as their Dictator.

Voters Bribed by Democrats Before Election Day

If you can't win on the issues then simply pay off the Sheeple voters

(CBS News)  About 23 million California residents will soon receive "inflation relief" checks of up to $1,050 under a budget deal reached by Governor Gavin Newsom and state lawmakers on Sunday.

The checks are part of a $17 billion relief package that will also suspend the state's sales tax on diesel fuel and provide additional aid to help people with rent and utility bills, Newsom and Senate President Pro Tempore Toni G. Atkins and Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon said in a statement.

The agreement comes as California drivers face the highest gasoline prices in the U.S., with the average price for a gallon of gas in the state at $6.32 on Monday — or about 29% higher than the national average.

Earlier this year, Newsom had proposed sending stimulus checks of $400 per vehicle to state residents, with a cap of two vehicles. But other lawmakers had pushed for a plan that would provide bigger checks to people who earn less.

Sheeple Californians Endorse Fascism by Supporting Newsom

The Sheeple of California bleat:
"Beat me again Master. I like it."

By Gary;

Rule #47 in life: People are fucking stupid.

The Sheeple of California have been gang raped by an alliance of Democrat Marxist Thugs and their allied business fellow travelers.

*** The COVID Gestapo put the Sheeple under an unconstitutional house arrest.

*** The COVID Gestapo closed smaller retail businesses and restaurants. All were forced to close while giant multi-national corporations who give millions in campaign $$$$ were allowed to stay open.

*** The COVID Gestapo closed churches, mosques and synagogues in total violation of the 1st Amendment.

*** The COVID Gestapo closed down beaches and parks because . . . well we all know the flu likes to hang around camp fires and beach sand.

*** The COVID Gestapo forced the Sheeple to wear medically useless face diapers as a sign that the will obey their Masters.

With the recall the cowardly Sheeple had a clear chance to revolt against their Marxist Medical Police State Overlords - - - instead they supported their Masters in a landslide.

The California Republic is officially dead.

Long live the People's Republic of California.

Date Set For Recall of Marxist Gavin Newsom

The Real Question:
Are there enough sane people left in California to recall this Marxist filth?

SACRAMENTO (AP) — California on Thursday scheduled a Sept. 14 recall election that could drive Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom from office, the result of a political uprising largely driven by angst over state coronavirus orders that shuttered schools and businesses and upended life for millions of Californians.

The election in the nation’s most populous state will be a marquee contest with national implications, watched closely as a barometer of the public mood heading toward the 2022 elections, when a closely divided Congress again will be in play.

The date was set by Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis, a Democrat, after election officials certified that enough valid petition signatures had been turned in to qualify the election for the ballot.

The announcement will set off a furious, 10-week burst of campaigning through the California summer, a time when voters typically are ignoring politics to enjoy vacationing, backyard barbecuing and travel.

Newsom has the Jewish caucus in his corner

What did Newsome do for Jews?
.
He established a one man dictatorship
He limited their freedom of religion
He put them under medical house arrest
He closed their businesses
He closed their schools
He made them unemployed
He forced them to wear face diapers

EDITOR - You know I just don't give a shit anymore. If people are so retarded to vote for someone who has been butt fucking them then they deserve what they get.

(J. the Jewish News of Northern California via JTA) — Calling California Gov. Gavin Newsom a “friend and ally” to the Jewish community, members of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus spoke out in a unified show of support for the governor on Tuesday as he faced an increasingly likely recall vote.

With just under 1.5 million valid signatures needed to trigger a recall vote, the petition against Newsom had nearly 1.2 million authorized signatures as of March 19, according to the secretary of state’s office. Recall proponents said they had turned in more than 2.1 million and were waiting for verification.

Newsom’s supporters are raising money and bumping up ad spending on behalf of the first-term Democratic governor and former San Francisco mayor.

Members of the state’s 18-member Jewish caucus, all Democrats, convened online to voice support for the governor on issues relevant to the Jewish community and to the caucus. Newsom has been a “trusted friend, ally and partner,” said Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel of Woodland Hills, an upscale neighborhood in Los Angles.

Gabriel pointed to the governor’s decision to increase security spending after the 2019 Chabad of Poway shooting that killed one person and injured three, authorizing a $15 million infusion into the state’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program.

Newsom announced that funding during an event in Sacramento alongside Holocaust survivors.

“The governor seized that moment to stand with our community,” Gabriel said.

Recall Gavin Newsom

Opponents of the Recall are not trying to defend Gavin Newsom. That, after all, is an impossible task. Instead, they’re engaging in what a corrupt political class always resorts to when its power is threatened: character assassination.

Remember the talk of Newsom’s Recall “war council”? It’s been operationalized. The Democrats’ political director just accused me of somehow fueling domestic terrorists by opposing the Governor’s policies. This vile smear follows the infamous “California Coup” event, where Newsom’s cronies likened a citizens’ movement 1.3 million strong to a violent overthrow of the government.

Another broadside came yesterday from one of Newsom’s closest allies, a Senator from San Francisco, who tweeted: “Anyone who enables the recall is participating in a MAGA revenge fantasy.”

That would certainly come as a surprise to Chamath Palihapitiya. He’s a tech billionaire who supported Michael Bloomberg for President and just came out in favor of the Recall. It would also come as a surprise to David and Jacqueline Sacks, a couple that gave the maximum $58,400 to Newsom in 2018 and is now financially supporting the Recall.

But most telling, dozens of the Senator’s own liberal supporters immediately corrected him:

  • “Excuse me? Your most ridiculous tweet ever,” wrote one. “I take offense with being lumped as a Trump supporter because our Governor is failing to do his job. Life long Democrat here who happily signed his recall. Newsom is destroying this state.”
  • “I actually like you and vote for you. You’re off point here,” wrote another. “I’m telling you, the dissatisfaction with Newsom goes beyond party lines. You’d do yourself good and your constituents good, by recognizing that.”
  • “As a constituent, I would love to see you bring the same energy to legislative oversight of the vaccine rollout, EDD, and Gavin’s many other failures,” wrote a Bernie Sanders fan, saying in another tweet: “I’m voting yes on the recall.”
  • “That is insane,” read another reply. “I’ve signed the petition and I voted him (and you) in. Newsom has given us the most restrictions with the worst outcomes. Period.”
  • “Californians have been defrauded of over $30+ billion dollars…holding those responsible accountable is our duty,” wrote a follower who said he’d supported the Senator for years, adding: “should I simply prioritize being on the right team? This is a lame and disappointing take.”
  • “Are you honestly giving him a passing grade re: handling of PG&E, EDD, vaccine rollout, schools?” wrote a follower who recently called for Republican Members of Congress to be arrested for treason. “Stressing party over performance seems so dishonest.”
  • “I have been a big supporter of yours since you were my SF Supervisor,” another replied. “But if schools are not opening in the Fall I will certainly support recalling Gov. Newsom.”
  • “With all due respect, the recall effort is democratic and constitutional,” said one outspoken critic of Republicans in Congress. “@GavinNewsom let us down with EDD, arbitrary decisions on lockdowns, schools, and vaccines. Voters decide what happens next as it should be.”
  • “The EDD mess is going to have millions of people siding with the recall people,” said a user who retweets the likes of AOC.
  • “Senator, gov has violated many rules himself, failed everyone, including those who cannot help themselves,” wrote a follower who has tweeted comments like, “Vote Biden not murderers and psychopaths.”
  • “I voted for him. He needs to go.”

These are not isolated examples. I speak every day with Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike who’ve simply had enough. They may not agree on much politically, but they agree we deserve so much better. They agree our lives should not be turned upside by a corrupt Governor. They agree there’s no reason California should ever rank 50th out of 50 in anything – let alone just about everything.

Meanwhile, Newsom is calling California’s “progressivism” the “roadmap to success” for the Biden Administration. That is the absolute height of delusion. But it does show that the Recall is a movement with national significance: an urgent warning to the nation not to copy California’s failures.

Democrats to force people to vote

(KTLA)  -  Following a series of sweeping expansions to expand access to voting in recent years, a California lawmaker is pushing to require voters to cast a ballot in future elections.
The proposal, introduced in the state Assembly on Tuesday, would be unprecedented and probably challenged in court should it ultimately become law. It would place the burden for determining the civil penalty and the ultimate punishment on the secretary of state, California’s chief elections officer.
“Democracy is not a spectator sport — it requires the active participation of all its citizens,” the bill’s author, Assemblyman Marc Levine (D-San Rafael), said in a written statement. “California is a national leader on expanding voting rights to its citizens. Those rights come with a responsibility by registered voters to cast their ballot and make sure that their voice is heard by their government.”

Nearly 84,000 duplicate voter records found

I wonder who the "extra" voters voted for?

California’s ambitious effort to automate voter registration at Department of Motor Vehicle offices produced almost 84,000 duplicate records and more than twice that number with political party mistakes, according to an audit released Friday by state officials.

The analysis covered just the first five months of the new “motor voter” program, which was launched in April 2018.

It found a wide array of problems with the rollout of the DMV system, including a limited amount of testing as well as inconsistent and confusing lines of communication between the state agencies involved in its creation. Many of the findings align with documents discovered by the Los Angeles Times in an investigation earlier this year of the motor voter program.

Auditors reviewed more than 3 million voter registration files, comparing records from both DMV and California’s secretary of state. They found 83,684 duplicate voter registrations, a mistake attributed to inconsistencies in what was listed for voters’ political party preferences.

“This action resulted in no impact to voter eligibility,” Keely Martin Bosler, director of the state Department of Finance, wrote in a letter on Friday to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Cabinet secretary.

Separately, the audit found additional errors in voter registration related to party preference. Investigators wrote that 171,145 DMV records contained entries indicating a person’s political party but no such “associated designation” within the data received by state elections officials.

Kamala Harris Bangs 60+ married man for a job

California politician Willie Brown downplayed his past relationship with Kamala Harris, now a Democratic senator for California, as she launched her presidential campaign.
The 84-year-old former Mayor of San Francisco also claimed a role in boosting Harris’ political career in a piece published in the San Francisco Chronicle over the weekend.
Brown engaged in an extramarital affair with Harris when she was a 30-year-old prosecutor and he was in his 60s and serving as speaker of the California Assembly.
In 2003, the San Francisco Weekly reported that Brown had appointed Harris to two highly paid patronage positions in California’s state government and also appointed her to the California Medical Assistance Commission, where she attended two meetings a month for a $150,000 salary, in inflation-adjusted terms.
After their relationship ended, Brown continued to boost Harris’ career by supporting her run for district attorney and later clearing the field for Harris to become a U.S. senator when he called on former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to stay out of the Senate race.

Why Are We Voting on Cage-Free Eggs and Dialysis Funding?

BY TIM ANAYA

The other day I was thumbing through California’s official voter information guide to read up on some of the propositions that we’ll be voting on in November.  This year, we’ll decide 12 statewide propositions, plus numerous local and county measures.

In general, I believe direct democracy is the only way that hard-working Californians can go around an out-of-touch Legislature to try and enact fiscally responsible policies.  For example, overtaxed Californians would never get the chance to vote on the gas tax absent the people’s right to referendum.

But looking over this year’s propositions, it makes you wonder if things really have gone too far and it’s time to rein things in.
Consider these questionable measures on the November ballot:
  • Proposition 7 would give the California Legislature the ability to change the state’s observance of daylight savings time by a two-thirds vote.
  • Proposition 8 would regulate what private kidney dialysis clinics must spend on outpatient care.
  • Under Proposition 11, “private ambulance companies could continue their current practice of having emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics stay on-duty during their meal and rest breaks in order to respond to 911 calls.”
  • Proposition 12 would establish new requirement for confining certain farm animals, and prohibit the sale of meat, eggs, and poultry that don’t comply with the new requirements.

.
Liberalism is a Mental Disorder
Instead of addressing real world California issues like poverty, the homeless and high taxes we see Leftists pushing "feel good" projects like cage free chickens.

When weighing in on California’s misplaced priorities, former Assemblyman – and soon-to-be State Senator – Brian Jones would frequently ask, “Are you kidding me?”  Looking at these propositions, I think most voters would agree.  Should government really be getting involved in issues like spending at private kidney dialysis clinics?  Probably not.
It’s just plain silly to ask voters to decide if we want to keep daylight savings time.  With California facing the nation’s highest poverty rate and runaway housing costs, there are more important priorities than judging what kind of eggs we should be allowed to buy.
These trivial measures are also a sign of just how broken the Legislature really is.  Lawmakers are seemingly capable of finding a reasonable solution on issues like break times for private-sector paramedics.  Voters shouldn’t have to do their job for them.
Voters have repeatedly affirmed their strong support for the initiative process in public opinion surveys over the years.
Perhaps that’s what is really behind this year’s deluge of trivial ballot measures – overwhelm voters with lots of silly votes so they eventually get fed up and demand reform.
My advice – grin and bear it and make your voices heard on these measures that shouldn’t be on the ballot at all.  It’s a small price to pay to ensure that we’re able to make our voices heard at the ballot box in the first place.
Tim Anaya is the Pacific Research Institute’s communications director.
